The areas of law in which we focus our opinions, advisory work and litigation.
Our legal practice is concentrated in the areas set out below. We handle every dispute, according to its nature, at the level of preparation, advisory, opinion (mütalâa), negotiation, meetings and discussions and case and file management. The advisory and litigation services we provide in our focus areas are supported, where needed, by scholarly opinions from leading specialists and by cooperation arrangements with fellow practitioners — so that every concrete case is assessed and pursued on its own terms with the rigour and care the profession demands.
Commercial Law
Advisory across the entire commercial-law cycle: disputes arising from the activities of commercial enterprises, company law, competition law, intellectual-property law and negotiable-instruments law. Carriage law, maritime commercial law and insurance law also fall within our practice. Resolution through litigation, alternative dispute-resolution methods, negotiation and arbitration.
Law of Obligations
From contract formation to performance, liability law to damages calculation; review of standard contracts and assessment of general terms and conditions.
Labour & Social Security Law
Legal services covering all individual and collective labour disputes that may arise from the formation through to the termination of an employment relationship — alongside the legal questions and disputes that arise within social-security frameworks.
Criminal Law
Criminal disputes — particularly economic crimes and matters arising from relationships with a private-law dimension.
Administrative Law
Annulment and full remedy actions against administrative acts and conduct; administrative contracts and disputes arising from public procurement.
Tax Law & Fiscal Law
Advisory, administrative applications and litigation in disputes arising from tax assessments, tax penalties and fiscal obligations.
Family & Personal Law
Disputes and advisory services covering the formation, continuation and dissolution of family unity and the financial and legal consequences of those processes — together with advisory work on custody, guardianship and trusteeship matters under personal law. Given the importance of family and personal rights, in such matters we work first to resolve the issue before it ripens into a dispute and, where a dispute does arise, to settle it in the most reasonable way that does not damage the parties' future relations.
Succession Law
Advisory and legal services on succession-law disputes — obtaining the certificate of inheritance, drafting wills and inheritance agreements, claims for reduction (tenkis) and equalisation (denkleştirme) — and on other legal questions connected to succession law.
Property Law
Advisory services on the protection of movable and immovable assets, alongside advisory and legal work on transactions, cases and processes that result in the transfer of ownership.
Enforcement & Bankruptcy Law
Advisory on every legal step and institution a creditor must use to collect a receivable — enforcement proceedings and related transactions and actions, dealings with financial and credit institutions, as well as concordato (composition) processes, bankruptcy proceedings and the actions that arise within them.
Mediation & Arbitration
Voluntary and mandatory mediation; international commercial arbitration under ICC and UNCITRAL rules.
Associations & Foundations Law
Formation, drafting of statutes and audit processes; internal-governance disputes and current changes in third-sector legislation.
International Disputes & Contracts
Choice-of-law and jurisdiction agreements under Turkish private international law; recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments.
